Knock Knock

Sam and Ragini playing Knock Knock instead of playing soccer. It is priceless!

Isabelle wants to thank all of her grandmas and grandpas for her birthday gifts. She is a very lucky girl for having grandparents who love her so much. Thank you very much for what you do for her and Sam and for the love and support you continue to give us. We are eternally grateful and can't wait until we are all together again.

Last Soccer Game of the Season

Saturday was Sam's last soccer game of the season. Good thing too, he was getting to the point where he didn't want to play cause it made him "too tired". We will try it again in the fall. Boy needs his exercise. He played goalie for the first half and did a magnificent job stopping the balls. Beautiful Isabelle getting started on cold coffee drinks. JK! She's happily drinking the best part: whipped cream.
My favorite gal in the world.
Sam laughing it up with his friend. Completely forgot about the game.
Can't wait til it's her turn to play soccer.
Sam and his trophy. He is so proud of his trophy. He takes it everywhere he goes and tells everyone his story of how he got it. He came a long way and became one of the top 3 players. We are so proud of you Sam!

Proud pappa!

This is at an outside mall in Burlington. Our friends the Greenes where in Raleigh looking for housing. We met halfway and had dinner. It was nice to see faces from home.

Check out her awesome jellies!

Party, party, party!! Ohh to be 2 again...

Last Friday, we had a little get together at our friends house and we celebrated Isabelle's and our friend Marc's birthdays. It was a gorgeous day and the party turned out to be so much fun for everyone. Thanks to the Chapels for having it at their house. It was everything Dora themed for Isabelle. She didn't know what was going on but she had a great time playing.

Opening presents.

Getting rides from her brother on the motorized car. She really liked it.

Once again, Rueben was the pinata holder. Very brave of him.

Our friend Charlie and his son Ben.

Sam getting a turn at the pinata.

Thankfully Rueben didn't get hit even though he does make a good pinata.

Our friend Martin and his one year old boy, Logan. The Chapels have this bounce house and the kids loved playing inside.

Hello Sam!

Chillin and setting a good example. :)

Driving miss Isabelle. Where did my chauffeur go?

Go Diego Go!

Our day started out with Sam's soccer game. Bright (actually rainy) and early. It was our turn to take snacks so Rueben went out and bought a bunch of oranges and cut them up. He kept telling me that when he was younger (many, many, many moons ago) he would get oranges as a snack after soccer games. Well, turns out that kids today, don't really like oranges. Only one child took an orange slice. We returned home with a bag full of oranges. Here's Isa hanging out, being cool. Daddy's little princess. "Daddy" is the first word out of her mouth in the morning when I get her up. She will run out of her room yelling "where are you, daddy?" After the game, we went to see Go Diego Go Live! Both the kids love the cartoon. In the story, Baby Jaguar loses his growl and is searching for it. Below you will see that I ended up with 2 baby jaguars. They did nothing but growl all day long. Waiting for the show to begin. Sam was mesmerized the entire time. He would yell out, growl, jump up and down, and pretend to sharpen his claws on a tree. Say cheese...growl!
Sam's favorite part was when Rescue Pack came out. Ahhh rescue pack....coming to the rescue!
Rueben's favorite part was when Click came out. Say click...take a pic! Hahaha!
Actually this was Rueben's favorite part, the cute senorita dancing right next to him. Oh yeah, baby, dance merengue with me.Happy boy on our way home.
Happy, messy girl.
